EchoBrain Show Recalls Early Soundgarden Sound

Tony Hicks of the Contra Costa Times reviewed EchoBrain show at Slim’s in San Francisco on Saturday, saying the revamped 5-piece live act “sounded more jammy and twice as powerful live than on its new self-titled record.” Hicks adds, “Even though fans may have some difficulty classifying EchoBrain’s record in the world of labeled subgenres, there was a pervading feeling of seeing early Soundgarden on Saturday — especially on some of the slower songs.” Bayarea.com has since removed the article.
