Doves More Upbeat On ‘Last Broadcast’
Doves guitarist Jez Williams tells Martin Johnson of Newsday that the enthusiasm with which their previous LP ‘Lost Souls’ was received added to the considerably more upbeat mood on ‘Last Broadcast.’ “Our minds were in a more positive state of mind and that actually seeped into the songwriting,” he said. “We were doing the things that bands do: playing shows and releasing records.
