Rob Harvilla of the Dallas Observer spoke with Donna Anderson of , who also is chiming in on Rolling Stone’s ‘Women in Rock’ issue, which names Britney Spears, Shakira and Avril Lavigne while overlooking her group. “I think [Rolling Stone] is trying to be nice, but they’re failing miserably,” Anderson says. “They’re trying to be forward and everything, and I know where they’re coming from, but these are not really women, and it’s not really rock.
