Disturbed’s Music Is Lean As It Is Repetitive

Jon M. Gilbertson of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reviewed ’s show at the Eagles Ballroom Thursday night where he said the group’s “music exhibited a well-oiled, tuned and toned mechanistic quality that was as lean as it was repetitive.” He added, “Disturbed’s music might even have come off as profound – relative to other contemporary metal groups – if Draiman hadn’t strutted the stage like a wrestler with a Napoleon complex, or if the rest of the band hadn’t struck the usual sullen poses while laying into their instruments.”
