Dirty Pretty Things frontman Carl Barat and bassist Didz Hammond spoke with The Sun’s ‘Something For The Weekend’ in a Q&A, where Carl was asked when he realized he couldn’t just carry on with The Libertines. “When I realised Peter [Pete Doherty] wasn’t coming back in a hurry and he was too busy with Babyshambles,” he said. “I couldn’t carry on with the band without him.
