Dillinger Escape Plan: Disturbed’s Donegan Has ‘Little Peen Complex’

guitarist Dan Donegan responded to guitarist Ben Weinman’s remark that rehearse their on-stage poses, calling the critique “jealousy” from a band who plays smaller venues on a smaller stage, DEP has returned serve in a blog posting at their MySpace page. “The guitar player Dom Deluise or whatever his name is with the little peen complex from that band Disturbia or whatever they’re called thinks that we care about them,” they write in a lengthy posting. “Old news, but still funny. Check it. ‘My Ferrari is better than your Honda!!! Our stages come apart and travel with us and yours don’t!!! We have thirty guitar techs and you have one!’. Coooool self esteem barometer douchebag. Wait…what’s that I hear? The sound of your band still sucking? Oh, right. Gotcha there, bud.” The entire post at MySpace has since been removed.

Weinman probably hit a soft spot with Donegan, given his prior history with the hair metal band Vandal, as exposed in photos posted by Metal Sludge.
