The Strokes ‘Room On Fire’ Is “Brisk And Catchy”

Jim Farber of the New York Daily News reviewed new album ‘Room on Fire’. He writes, “Like the Strokes’ debut, ‘Room on Fire,’ is short (38 minutes), brisk (with barely a ballad in earshot) and catchy (with enough hooks to hang up every dress Cher ever wore). The music likewise holds to the band’s mission: to modify the raw New York rock of bands like Television and the Feelies with the breezier New Wave of acts like Blondie and the Cure.” Read more.
