The Sunday Mirror has details on the young woman Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty is alleged to have injected with heroin. Laura McEvoy, 21, was also picked up by police for questioning in the incident. “She’s heading for self-destruction. No one was surprised at the pictures,” a pal said. “I can’t see the obsession with Doherty ending. She is potty about the bloke and always has been. The last thing she needs is a guy like Doherty. I hope she sorts her life out, otherwise she’ll end up dead.”
