Despite Turmoil, Unwritten Law Produces Best Ever LP
Jeff Inman of Las Vegas City Life spoke with Unwritten Law guitarist Steve Morris about the band’s forthcoming album ‘Here’s to the Mourning’, due February 8, 2005. “This is our best record,” Morris insisted. “It’s the most cohesive thing we’ve ever done.” Morris added, “This album has a lot of angst on it. That’s the thing that holds it together. We were in a pretty dark place when we started it. There was a lot of sh** going on in the band. The stuff with Wade [Youman, Unwritten Law’s drummer and founder] caused a lot of turmoil. And there was crap going on in our personal lives. And that all came out in the songs. But that really made it all worth it.” The full story at lasvegascitylife.com has since been removed.
