Deftones Set It Off Guerilla Style At St. Andrews Hall

Adam Graham of The Detroit News writes, “Hundreds of fans were given near-instant gratification Thursday night, as the Sacramento sneaker metal kingpins plowed through a powerful 21-song set at a sold-out St. Andrews Hall only hours after tickets for the show went on sale.” Graham added, “The nearly two-hour show leaned heavily on material from the band’s early years, appropriate since the new ‘Deftones’ disc seems to harken back to those heavier days.
