Simon Young of Kerrang! spoke with Deftones’ Chino Moreno and Abe Cunningham moments after their set at Reading 2009 last weekend. They talked about the show the prior night, how things are working well with Sergio Vega filling in for Chi Cheng, how Chi’s health is currently (updates are at OneLoveForChi.com), hoping to release the new album before year’s end, which they say mixes aggressive and lush sounds.
