While this isn’t the comeback of grunge, the folks of the Seattle scene are saying they haven’t gone away. “All of us are very thankful that we’re in a band and that we didn’t lose our minds and that there’s still some genuine feelings from our fans,” Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard tells G. Brown of the Denver Post. “We’re able to look even farther ahead now – ‘Wow, if we just stay on this path, it can go wherever it wants to go.’ There’s definitely a satisfaction involved. We feel like we made some pretty good decisions in our past that kept us together. And it feels good in terms of the music – your intrinsic friendships with each other are related to how you’re able to express your ideas and augment somebody else’s ideas in the group.” Denverpost.com has since removed the article.
