Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott got into a rather heated discussion with Randy Harward of Salt Lake City Weekly, who is no fan of the band’s latest album ‘X’. When Harward suggested that Def Leppard observed everyone around them going pop and consciously sold out, Elliott responded, “We don’t give a fu** about cred. We give a fu** about making a great record. We’ve certainly never been puppets and we’re not going to start now. And how many people other than the small minority of media people that pick up on the negative side of stuff give a sh**?”
