Darkness Frontman Won’t Be Singing With Queen

Queen guitarist Brian May has dismissed as “a nice little fabrication” a recent report in The Sun that suggested his band would be joined by The Darkness singer Justin Hawkins to perform at a concert celebrating the 30th anniversary of Queen’s first chart hit. “Some wishful hacklet has put two and two together and made… three and a half,” May wrote on his web site, jokingly adding that he and Hawkins are “just good friends.” Read more.
