Dandy Warhols Rocked To Mostly Good Effects
Sarah Tomlinson of the Boston Globe reviewed The Dandy Warhols concert at the Paradise on Wednesday (September 10). Tomlinson writes, “Whether it comes in the form of sex, drugs, or over-the-top music, self-indulgence is the cardinal rule of rock. The Dandy Warhols, known to dabble in the first two, indulged in themselves during a three-hour set at the Paradise on Wednesday night. Weaving a complicated soundscape of effects-laden guitar, synthesizers, and flamboyant vocals, their musical flights were sometimes transcendent, sometimes trying, and most fun when the band led the sold-out room in a giddy dance party.” Boston.com has since removed the article.
