Damon Albarn On Why Graham Coxon Left Blur

Speaking for the first time about their bust-up, Blur frontman Damon Albarn claimed guitarist Graham Coxon was forced to leave because he wanted more control over the Blur’s music. “We weren’t fighting but Graham got into a position where he just wasn’t comfortable with me calling the shots,” Damon revealed to the Sunday People. “That’s why he’s not in the band any more.”
