Daisley Comments On Ozzy Lawsuit Getting Tossed

Former bassist Bob Daisley spoke to Live4Metal last week about the lawsuit he and drummer Lee Kerslake filed against Ozzy claiming Osbourne, his wife and manager Sharon and Sony Music and Epic Records cheated them out of royalties for their work on the ‘Blizzard of Oz’ and ‘Diary of a Madman’ albums in the early ’80s. Asked why he thought the case had been dismissed, Daisley responded, “In my opinion, there are rats to smell — we know how powerful, rich and connected the Osbournes are.” As for his feelings on the re-masters of ‘Blizzard of Ozz’ and ‘Diary of a Madman’ with new drum and bass tracks, Daisley fumed, “It didn’t surprise me/us that they would stoop to such low levels to piss us off, but to insult the memory of Randy and the record buying public is another matter. It just goes to show how important the music is to them – zilch!”
