Creed’s Post 9-11 Success Downplayed

Keith Harris of the Star Tribune spoke with Steve Karas, vice president of publicity at ’s record label, Wind-Up Entertainment, who downplayed the band’s success following the events of September 11. Karas said, “The chord they have struck with people predates the sadness that happened 9/11. In addition, the first quarter of [‘Weathered’] is a very heavy sound. I don’t think that’s the kind of mood music people are searching for.”
