David J. Criblez of the Island Ear reviewed the Creed show at the Continental Airlines Arena recently, where he detailed the band’s love hate relationship by fans. Criblez said, “The strange thing about Creed’s performance was that it got progressively quieter as the night drew on. From the show’s tail end of ‘With Arms Wide Open’ and ‘What’s This Life For’ to encores ‘Don’t Stop Dancing’ and ‘Lullaby,’ the evening ended with a whimper. By the time it came to the final numbers, ‘Higher’ and ‘My Sacrifice,’ people seemed too mellowed out. But Creed is all about giving the people what they want, even if they walk the fine line of being traditionalists or just simply clichés.” Islandear.com has since removed the article.
