Creed Come Across Bombastic & Dogmatic
Craig Seymour of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution was at the opening night of Creed’s new tour in Atlanta and gave rather harsh words for what is currently the biggest rock band in the country. Seymour said, “The problem with Creed is not the earnest messages or even the derivative music. Rather, it’s the arrogant, hamfisted aura that the band projects,” adding that Stapp’s lyrics make “the songs come across as more bombastic than revelatory, more dogmatic than prayerful.” Accessatlanta.com has since removed the article.
