The New York Daily News reports Courtney Love is fighting to get her 11-year-old daughter Frances Bean Cobain back after her arrest on October 2nd prompted Officials with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services put Frances in the care of her paternal grandmother, Wendy O’Connor. A California law that allows authorities to put someone deemed to be a danger to others or themselves under 72-hour evaluation prompted Love to be put in “the loony bin.” She says, “Cops and two ladies in white coats came to my house. I got jackbooted. My mouth was taped shut. They put a Ping-Pong ball in my mouth. And, honey, you don’t get to say you’re sorry for that, because it wasn’t in bed.” The full article at nydailynews.com has since been removed or relocated.
