Courtney Love Surrenders To Police
Billboard reports pursuant to a warrant issued earlier this week, Courtney Love surrendered to police in Los Angeles yesterday (June 11). The 39-year-old recording artist/actress was booked on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly assaulting a 32-year-old woman with a liquor bottle at the home of her former manager. She posted $55,000 bail and was released. Prosecutors have said the charge stems from an April 25 incident at the Los Angeles home of former manager and boyfriend Jim Barber. Love is scheduled to appear in court July 9 for arraignment.
