Billboard.com caught up with Courtney Love, who has signed a three-record deal with Virgin, the first being ‘America’s Sweetheart’, which is due out October 20th. Asked if Love’s woes with the music industry, which have included suing and being sued by the Universal Music Group (UMG), found their way into any of the songs, the singer told Billboard, “No, not worth writing about … There’s one song about a fictional boy who saves fictional rock’n’roll in a fictional town. Other than that, it’s a lot of God and a lot of sex. Some rebirth, stagnation and death and some hope.”
