Courtney Love Not Brando’s Granddaughter
Courtney Love’s mother, psychologist Linda Carroll, had reportedly claimed the former Hole singer might be the granddaughter of Marlon Brando to be revealed in her new book, but now Carroll’s New York book publisher Doubleday is denying the report. A spokeswoman tells the New York Daily News, “There was nothing in Linda Carroll’s book proposal about Marlon Brando, nor will there be anything in the book about him. I’ve spoken to her and she has told me that there is no truth to the suggestion that she is related to Marlon Brando.”
