Courtney Love addressed 300 students at Oxford University last week, where the Hole singer addressed the impact of her late husband Kurt Cobain’s suicide. “[People say] ‘God, Kurt was cool,'” she said. “No, he wasn’t. Not in the sense of [his suicide]. That action had a horrible effect on our family. It’s not cool. It just wasn’t cool. And that action was regretted the second it happened.
