Corey Taylor Says Slipknot Songs Have Hope

The January 2002 issue of Spin features a short interview with Slipknot singer Corey Taylor who shoots down talk that his band’s music is hurtful saying, “People want to say our music is brutal and our music is hurtful, but you know what? There is more hope in any one of our songs than there is on the entire Staind album, so everybody can kiss my ass! It’s a matter of perception.”
