Dan Baesler of the Georgetown Hoya reviewed Coldplay’s new album ‘A Rush of Blood to the Head’ giving it a big thumbs up. Baesler writes, “Coldplay has definitely succeeded with this latest record. They’ve evolved as a band, yet were still able to put out an album as enjoyable as their last, even if it isn’t a Parachutes 2. It’s still too mellow for those who are looking for a fun, exciting CD, but it accomplishes the feat of lifting Coldplay out of their depression rut into a new realm of music. A Rush of Blood to the Head shows they have left behind the trembling, despondent vocals, and now have the confidence to put out an honest rock record.” Thehoya.com has since removed the article.
