Anytime the frontman for Coldplay gets stuck, he simply grabs a DVD. “If I’m struggling for a theme, I just put on some Woody Allen films,” he tells Thor Christensen of the Dallas Morning News. “‘Annie Hall,’ ‘Play It Again Sam,’ ‘Love and Death’ — those are the films that sum up everything we ever think about — trouble with girls, bad politicians, confusion with what life’s about, you know?”
