Chris Shiflett’s Mom ‘Was A No-Bullsh** Lady’
Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett admits growing up with a mother who was a parole officer wasn’t easy, but she supported him when he dropped out of high school to play punk rock. “She was a no-bullsh** lady,” Shiflett tells Australia’s Time Off magazine. “She wasn’t a strict disciplinarian. But you couldn’t put anything past her; she’d heard all the bull. She’d always say to me, ‘I put kids away like you all the time, Chris, every day!’.” The article at timeoff.com.au has since been removed.
