Chris Shiflett Plotting Foo Fighter Side Project
RollingStone.com spoke with Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett who has recorded more than twenty songs with his brother bassist Scott Shiflett and drummer Pete Parada for an upcoming side project. “It’s guitar pop,” says Shiflett. “It’s not nearly as heavy as Foo Fighters stuff. And there’s some stuff that’s pretty mellow and vibey.” As for a name for the group, Shiflett said, “I’ve been kicking around a few different names, but I run them by my girlfriend and she makes fun of them.”
