Chris Martin Explains Why Coldplay Doesn’t ‘Save’ Songs
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is realistic about the possibility that the group’s forthcoming ‘A Rush Of Blood To The Head’ could be their last. “The way I look at it is, that we could die at any point, you know? We’re on airplanes all the time and, you know, life to me seems very fragile and there’s no point in saving songs for your 15th record because you might never get to your 15th record,” he explained. “There’s no point in saving energy on a concert because you got a concert the next day, you know? So it might be our last record, I don’t know. We won’t make another record unless it’s better, and at the moment we really don’t have anything left.” The new album is due out August 27th.
