Capital FM in London chatted with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin about his band taking home several Q Awards, and asked the singer if all this success has gotten to his head. “No, because whenever I hear our songs on the radio, I always think they’re rubbish,” he said. “That’s why we write new songs, because we think we can do better. For six months when we were making the album I thought ‘The Scientist’ was the best song of all time, no joking, I thought ‘We’ll never top that’. But we will top it. We’re got a new song called ‘Charlotte’s Song’ and another one called ‘X & Y’ and both of those are better.” Capitalfm.com has since removed the audio.
