Matt DeVries from Chimaira was interviewed by Capital Chaos backstage at the Mayhem festival in Mountainview, California on July 11th. Matt talked about the chart success of their latest album ‘The Infection’, working with Ben Schigel again on the project, what he thinks about the BP oil leak, being upset with LeBron James leaving the band’s hometown of Cleveland, living in a city with bad sports teams, the new DVD ‘Coming Alive’, and whether he thinks CD’s are dead.
