C.C. Banana, the yellow-skinned badwill ambassador to the hard rock community, is proud to announce the debut of the all-new CCBanana.com! This unique new website collects for the first time C.C.’s many unbelievable rock & roll adventures, featuring memorable guest appearances by the members of Poison, Winger, Cinderella, Skid Row, Kiss, Faster Pussycat, Enuff Z’Nuff, Pretty Boy Floyd, 40ft. Ringo and others. In addition to chronicling C.C. Banana’s legendary and asinine exploits, the all-new CCBanana.com also showcases his exhaustive tour diaries, infamous song parodies, hilarious band interviews and other downloadable media.
“We’ve been depleting our potassium reserves for the past several months,” explains C.C. Banana, “working overtime to construct a proper asylum for these stories, songs, and videos. There’s just so much fun stuff to share, I’m glad that fans will finally be able to see and hear it all!”
The debut of the all-new CCBanana.com follows the release of C.C.’s premiere home video BACKSTAGE BANANA, in which he alternately interviews and offends the bands of the 2002 Hollyweird Tour. Still available via the website, this video has proven to be a huge hit with rockers and fans alike. In fact, since releasing BACKSTAGE BANANA, C.C. has been more in-demand than ever! Last fall he introduced an evening with Bret Michaels at the B.B. King Blues Club in NYC, and in late 2003 C.C. Banana returned to his stand-up comedy roots by opening for Howard Stern’s resident celebrity impersonator, Craig Gass.
C.C. Banana began life as a twisted homage to Poison guitarist C.C. DeVille, yet soon took on a life of his own. He again made news for his infamous nightclub showdown with former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach, and later for hosting (and surviving) the landmark MSX Tour. C.C. Banana has also appeared with Uranium’s Juliya on Fuse TV (formerly Much Music USA) and has even been profiled in the UK’s “Classic Rock” magazine. C.C. Banana is perhaps best known for entertaining visitors of the popular Metal Sludge website with tales of his outlandish misadventures.
“The all-new CCBanana.com is packed to the peel with gobs of gratuitous goodness!” swears C.C. Banana. “Slip inside and enjoy the ride!”
Stay tuned for another exciting announcement from C.C. Banana in the near future. In the meantime, you can find the latest news, updates and tales of rock & roll lunacy at the all-new CCBanana.com.
