Guns N’ Roses ‘Greatest Hits’ Due March 23rd

CD Universe has the track list and cover art for Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming ‘Greatest Hits’ CD, will be made available as a digipack and will contain remastered versions of their hits ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’, ‘Patience’, ‘Paradise City’ and a cover of the Rolling Stones’ ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ from the ‘Interview With a Vampire’ soundtrack. Metallica’s Hetfield Selling Restored Chevy On eBay

Metallica singer James Hetfield is selling the black 1967 Chevrolet Camaro he drove in the band’s video for ‘I Disappear’ on eBay for charity. With seven days left in the online auction, the latest bid by Thursday was $70,100, up from a starting offer of $8,000. Proceeds will be donated to music programs in schools.

Bid For A Day In The Studio With Metallica

Metallica has teamed up with the T.J. Martell Foundation to offer the winning auction bidder a day in the studio with the band. But it won’t be cheap, the current bid is a whopping $41,300 and the auction still has more than seven days to go, wrapping up on July 19th.

Rock Dominates Spin Top 20 — But Not Top Spot

The Spin list of their top 20 bands and artists, from their April issue, is online. The top rock band on the list was Radiohead at #2, with U2 at #4, and System of a Down at #5. For those that haven’t checked out the Spin magazine 50 Greatest Bands of All Time, they’ve put half of it on their website.
