Something To Burn Announce Tour Dates With Fair to Midland And Karnivool

September 2009 saw the release of Something To Burn’s debut album ‘Transitions’ on Soft Drive Records, the record label founded by Stone Temple Pilots front man Scott Weiland. After playing a handful of shows last year with Stone Temple Pilots and some successful headlining shows of their own, the rock band are gearing up to hit the road this spring with Fair to Midland and Karnivool. The tour starts March 23rd in San Antonio, TX and wraps up April 14th in Denver, CO.

Something To Burn lead singer Greg Wayne said about the upcoming tour: “Imagine a caged tiger…pacing back & forth…aching to get back out into the wild…dying to do what it was put on this earth to do. Well, Something to Burn is that tiger and we are finally being set free this spring. I’d do everything I could to catch one of these shows if I were you…just sayin.”

Bullet For My Valentine Announce U.S. Headlining Tour Dates

Bullet For My Valentine have announced dates for their U.S. headline tour in support of the band’s upcoming third release ‘Fever’, in stores April 27th and featuring the single ‘Your Betrayal’, which was the #1 most added track on alternative radio. This marks the bands first trip back to American soil since playing the main stage at The Mayhem Festival last summer.

The tour starts in Worcester, MA on April 30th at the Palladium and concludes on May 30th in Detroit, MI at the Fillmore. Joining Bullet For My Valentine on tour will be Chiodos and Airbourne. Tour highlights include New Jersey’s Bamboozle Festival on May 1 and Columbus, Ohio’s Rock on the Range on May 23rd.

Bret Michaels Performs ‘Nothing To Lose’ On ‘Lopez Tonight’

After releasing his new single ‘Nothing To Lose’ ahead of schedule, thanks to a flood of attention surrounding the track, Bret Michaels headed to late night show ‘Lopez Tonight’ for the first live performance of the ballad. The Poison singer stripped down the performance sitting under the stage lights just himself and an acoustic guitar, as the song was originally written.

Fans of Bret can catch him on tour starting March 12th and on the new season of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ starting March 14th. ‘Nothing To Lose’ is also available on iTunes and at BretMichaels.com on CD, which includes all five recorded versions of the song; solo, solo acoustic, featuring Miley Cyrus, acoustic featuring Miley Cyrus and a country version also featuring the Disney starlet. ‘Nothing To Lose’ will also be on Michaels’ forthcoming full-length ‘Custom Built’.

Over the past week or so we’ve been going through the mixing process for our new album and things are sounding amazing. Sherwood Announce Tour Dates In Support Of ‘QU’

Sherwood will be hitting the road launching a U.S. headlining tour in support of its most recent effort ‘QU’. The tour kicks off February 17th in Los Angeles at the famed Roxy Theater.

Sherwood’s brand new music video for the song ‘You Are’ will world premiere on MySpace Music on February 12th. The video was directed by Long Beach hipster Matt Wignall who also produced music and videos for Cold War Kids.

Sublime Perform ‘Date Rape’ & ‘Don’t Push’ Live At Smokeout

Altitude TV has footage of Sublime performing ‘Date Rape’ and ‘Don’t Push’ live from their reunion show at Cypress Hill’s Smokeout Fest 2009 at the San Manuel Amphitheatre in San Bernardino, California last month. Taking over on vocals for deceased singer Bradley Nowell is Rome.

Anarbor Announce Tour Dates With Straylight Run, Hawthorne Heights

Anarbor, fresh off a run of dates with The Almost and This Providence, has lined up a fall tour schedule that finds them supporting Straylight Run from October 6-24 and Hawthorne Heights from November 29-December 20.

The band’s track ‘You and I’ off their recent Hopeless Records EP ‘Free Your Mind’, currently appears on the Cartoon Network original movie, ‘Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins’. The film premiered on Cartoon Network last month and is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray. The home video version includes the music video for Anarbor’s ‘You And I’ which premiered on Cartoon Network in August. Anarbor also recorded the theme song, ‘What’s New Scooby Doo’ (originally done by Simple Plan). The song appears during the end credits of the movie.

The Phoenix, area 4-piece is also preparing to head back to the studio to begin work on its first full length release with producer Mike Green (Paramore, Good Charlotte, The Matches).

Wolfmother Announce U.S. Tour Dates

Wolfmother have announced their first North American headlining tour in over 2 years, which kicks off at the House of Blues in Dallas, Texas on the 29th of October, wrapping up 20 cities later at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. The band are touring in support of their forthcoming album ‘Cosmic Egg’, out October 27th. Supporting Andrew Stockdale and his bandmates will be thenewno2 and Heartless Bastards.
