Bono Says Prosperity Is Tougher For U2 Than Success

singer Bono was on Larry King Live on Sunday (December 1) to promote World AIDS Day. Bono also talked about the future of the group. Bono admits, “It’s much harder to be relevant than it is to be successful.” He explains, “I think — you know, I don’t think — I think U2 has a prosperous life ahead of itself, but I don’t — that’s not enough for me, unless we’re making music that’s relevant.
