Bono Says Album’s Meaning Changed Post 9.11

ABCNews.com reports U2’s Bono admits the events of September 11 have changed the meaning of the band’s music on ‘All That You Can’t Leave Behind’. Bono said, “The songs do change their meaning. Music changes shape to fit the predicament it finds itself. This year the predicament was a very different America We’ve always loved coming here. But this year I’ve rediscovered my love of America, the great idea as opposed to the great country.”
