Josh Bell of Las Vegas Weekly reviewed ’s set at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on April 19th. He writes, “Despite Bon Jovi’s efforts to turn himself into a latter-day Springsteen, his band is still a triumph of style over substance. Anthems like ‘You Give Love a Bad Name’ and ‘Wanted Dead or Alive’ (both delivered with intensity to a screaming crowd) are about as deep as the average Backstreet Boys song, and probably better for it. Whenever Bon Jovi try for meaningful (the aforementioned 9/11 tribute), it just comes off as silly. Luckily, they know what their fans want and are happy to deliver.” has since removed the article.
