Michael D. Clark of the Houston Chronicle reviewed the Pop Disaster tour stop Saturday at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Clark said, “Green Day’s well-rounded arsenal is a progression of talent that blink-182 is still years away from. This it not to say that blink-182 was bad, but the strains of trying to condense its show were more obvious. After a stellar lone-headlining gig at The Woodlands last year, trying to duplicate it in an hour felt rushed and claustrophobic.” Chron.com has since removed the article.
