Blink-182 Can’t Wait To Play New Material

Blink 182’s Tom DeLonge tells Radio 1 the band can’t wait to get on stage and perform their new material at Leeds and Reading this weekend. “The arrangements are very different and the grooves and the rhythms of how the songs feel are very different,” DeLonge said of the new album. “And the sounds are very different. It’ll still be very melodic and it’s still going to be aggressive, but it’s very dynamic and very deep – the record’s a lot more serious. And all of our other records are serious but we actually spent extra time trying to make these songs a little bit more seamless and the record a little bit more emotional of a whole unit so when you listen to the whole thing there are lots of ups and downs to it – it’s very moody.”
