Blink 182 Buckle Down A Bit, But To Little Effect


Jim Farber of the New York Daily News reviewed Blink-182’s new self-titled album. He writes, “Musically, the group has tried to fatten its new riffs, if only to keep pace with rap-metal bands like Linkin Park, which now dominate rock radio. They haven’t sacrificed their punk pace. But the velocity creates little excitement because their chord progressions seldom surprise and their guitars sound like they were programmed by machines.” The full article at has since been removed or relocated.
