Bizkit, Korn Serve Full Plate Of Rage

David Sprague of The New York Daily News was on hand for the double-bill of and the other night at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where Bizkit frontman Fred Durst was the target of the crowd’s rage. Sprague says that “Durst, who’s had his share of run-ins with audiences, bore the brunt of the abuse, dodging a fair amount of debris – but not quickly enough to avoid a chin-slicing hit during ‘Break Stuff’.” As for Korn, Sprague says, “Shorn of the frills that accompanied them on large-hall tours, the quintet took on a steelier, no-nonsense demeanor, which suited the harsh material from the just-released ‘Take a Look in the Mirror’ album.” The full article at nydailynews.com has since been removed or relocated.
