Billy Idol Interview Turns Icy After Nazi Confession
On Donny Deutsch’s CNBC show ‘The Big Idea’ on Tuesday, Billy Idol said that he and his punk pals wore swastikas as a shocking fashion statement. “We were young kids and all we wanted to do was piss off the people who fought in the war who were teaching us,” Idol recalled. “Then we found out how terrible it was and we never used it again.” The comment led to an uncomfortable end to the interview with Deutsch.
