Avril Lavigne On Nirvana, Fred Durst

In Rock magazine of Japan recently caught up with Avril Lavigne for a Q&A and shared her thoughts on Nirvana. “Kurt Cobain’s lyrics are sincere; they’re a real rock star band, ‘Ok, their concerts being so dirty and mess up’, but that was part of the music and the fans, was not their fault,” she remarked. As for her relationship with Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, she commented, “I have talked to him sometimes, but we aren’t friends.”
