Audioslave Proud Of Their Past, But Begin New Presence
Katherine Tulich of Australia’s Beat magazine chatted with former Rage Against the Machine members Tom Morello and Brad Wilk, and former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell about their new project Audioslave. “Clearly Rage and Soundgarden were flagships of the genres they inhabited but from day one we have been insistent in our rehearsals that this is a new band and should be judged in its own merits,” Morello said.”We are both proud of our past but we are beginning a new presence with the four of us. We have made an album that is very special to all of us.”
