Arctic Monkeys Will Play, But Won’t Headline Reading / Leeds

The Mirror reports that after being offered the headlining slots at the Reading/Leeds Festivals, the Arctic Monkeys turned them down, insisting they’re not ready to headline such a massive show yet. A source said, “The lads can’t wait for the festival season to kick off but they feel it’s too early in their careers to headline. They’re happy just being on stage.”
