Us Weekly caught up with Evanescence singer Amy Lee and asked her how it felt to win her first Grammy. “It was a complete shock,” Lee admitted. “I was content to just sit there like, ‘Cool’. I’ve already done the carpet, the work is over, I’m taking my shoes off… When we won, I was racking my brain, thinking, ‘What am I going to say’?” Lee also reavealed she designed the gown who wore to the Grammys herself. “It’s kind of my black and pink ballerina thing,” she explained.
