Amy Lee Discusses ‘The Open Door’ & Married Life
Evanescence singer Amy Lee spoke with Fox News Channel’s Anita Vogel about the band being able to avoid the sophomore slump with ‘The Open Door’, all while resisting the urge to copy the sound on their smash debut ‘Fallen’. “We took chances and got creative with it, and did things that I didn’t think I could maybe do before. Just did a lot of experimentation and abandoned the formula. I think that it made for a much better, much more interesting, much more mature record.” Lee added that “work is a little more fun” bringing her husband Josh Hartzler along on tour.
