Amy Lee: 50 Cent Was ‘Kind Of Immature’ At Grammys
The New York Daily News spoke with Evanescence singer Amy Lee about the Grammy Awards incident when 50 Cent stormed the stage to protest when the group was named Best New Artist over him. “He was just kind of putting his face on stage then and there at that moment to make a point that he should have won best new artist,” Lee said. “It had nothing to do with me personally, I guess. I just thought it was kind of immature.” Lee also spoke about the sudden departure of guitarist Ben Moody.
